The Sherman-profi V4 automatic welding helmet is designed to protect eyes and face from sparks, splashes and harmful radiation during electric and gas welding, braze welding, soldering, oxygen cutting and grinding.
The automatic blackout filter automatically changes from light to dark after ignition of the arc and becomes bright again after welding.
The V4 visor has two external knobs enabling adjustment of the darkness level from 4 to 13 according to DIN and smooth adjustment of sensitivity of photosensors to arc intensity during welding, as well as two external switches allowing three-position adjustment of the dark / light switching delay time and change of operating mode. The blackout filter has the highest optical class ensuring full welder safety. It is equipped with four photosensors, which is especially important when welding with low currents.
The V4 helmet has an exceptionally large field of view and an advanced, comfortable and ergonomic headrest for perfect fit and full adjustment of the helmet. A special tilting system changes the visor’s center of gravity relative to the welder’s head.
After selecting the grinding function, the blackout filter switches to bright without darkness adjustment.
In terms of technological advancement, technical parameters and quality of workmanship, the visor is comparable with products of leading companies.
