Repco Jumper Leads 400A with LED Lights 2.5m RBCBL400S2

Repco 400 Amp booster cables with LED lights help you get your medium to large vehicle out of jam when your battery has gone flat. The LED lights on the battery clamps immediately illuminate when connected to the battery to assist in low light conditions. Packaged in a convenient reusable hard plastic storage case, these jumper leads are you answer to crank your vehicle battery back into life.

Make sure you follow the instructions on the pack before connecting your jumper leads. Make sure the batteries are of the same voltage, make sure the car’s don’t touch, make sure the engines are off, the car is in neutral or park and the handbrake is on before connecting the battery jumper cables.

Vehicle starting sequence for negatively earthed vehicles:

  1. Connect the RED lead to the positive + terminal of both vehicles batteries.
  2. Then connect the BLACK lead to the negative – terminal of the boosting battery and then the engine block of the vehicle with the FLAT battery.
  3. Start the engine of the BOOSTING vehicle and allow engine to idle normally.
  4. Start the engine of the vehicle with the FLAT battery and allow engine to idle normally.
  5. Once the engine of the vehicle with the FLAT battery is idling normally, turn off the BOOSTING vehicle and disconnect the booster cables in the reverse order.
